Student Self-Reflective Learning (SRL) data provides instructors insight into student confidence with course concepts.
In Quantway and Statway, main course units contain a Self-Reflective Learning (SRL) survey that students engage with after the unit's preparation to consider their confidence with the main concepts of the unit. In Quantway, these SRL surveys are called "After Preparation Survey"; in Statway, these SRL surveys are called "Monitor" and come at the end of a unit.
Instructors can access this data to review individual student responses or see an aggregate.
To access SRL data, first click on the SRL survey node in the unit's Learning Map.
Here, you can review an individual student's survey responses by scrolling down and clicking the Survey link beside a particular student's name.
You can also review class aggregated responses by clicking the Survey Results button.
Click the Gather data button to display the aggregated data.
This data can be used to inform any necessary support and intervention to bolster student confidence with the unit's main concepts.
